Our brief, but impressive, history! 8/2007 - a group of dog lovers dedicated to rebuilding a better New Orleans meet to discuss forming a dog park. 1/2008 - NOLA City Bark is incorporated as a non-profit organization run by a volunteer board of directors. Our wonderful dog park location! City Park - for all citizens in Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, St. Charles and St. Bernard parishes to ulitize and enjoy. Our city will be on the dog map as canine-friendly! Our dog park will allow Greater New Orleans to be on par with other major dog friendly cities, such as Atlanta, Houston, Tampa, Seattle, San Francisco and Chicago. Baton Rouge’s first dog park opened last year and was so successful that 3 more are in the planning process. More information? Click here to read our FAQs!
