NOLA City Bark Dog Park is not responsible for injuries to other dogs, their owners/handlers, or others that may use the NOLA City Bark Dog Park. This area is for dogs and their owners/handlers only.

Persons who choose to use the NOLA City Bark Dog Park, as a condition of use, agree to the following rules.

Dogs must be on leash and under control by their owners/handlers at all times when outside of fenced park area.

Dog owners/handlers must respect the rights of others by maintaining control of their pets at all times. Owners/handlers must remain inside of fenced area, with leash in hand, and within view and voice control of their dogs at all times.

Dogs must be healthy, vaccinated, and collared with ID tags. Choke or prong collars are not allowed in the off-leash area.

Owners/handlers must immediately clean up after their dog(s) and properly dispose of waste. Plastic bags and garbage cans are available on the premises.

Dogs in heat and puppies under 4 months are prohibited.

No dog treats or human food within fenced area.

Dog park gates must be closed immediately after entering or exiting the park.

Dogs showing aggression toward people or other animals must be leashed and  removed from the park.

Owners/handlers must stop their dogs from digging and immediately fill any holes dug.

Children under 6 are prohibited from entering fenced dog park area. Children
6-12 must be accompanied by an adult, and should not run, chase dogs, or pet other’s dogs unless permission is granted by the owner.

Only small, older, or shy dogs are allowed to use the small dog area.

Limit of three dogs per adult.

Spayed or neutered animals are strongly recommended.

No toys except for balls or Frisbees.
Please discourage your dog from running to “meet” other dogs at the gate.

No bicycling, rollerblading, skateboarding, strollers or jogging allowed in the park.

No smoking, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs or firearms allowed in park.

If any serious problems occur, please call 911 immediately.
